Maxi scooters — first choice for beginners and the city
The Vespa GTS 300 and Yamaha XMAX 300 are 300 cc twist-and-go scooters with 790–795 mm seats, HK$490 on day one and HK$340/day after. If it is your first time riding in Hong Kong or you will mostly stay in the city and the Island south coast, start here.
Lightweight sport — for the twisties
The Kawasaki Ninja 500 weighs just 171 kg with a 451 cc twin and slipper clutch, HK$690/day. For riders comfortable with a manual gearbox who want Route Twisk and Fei Ngo Shan Road.
Big nakeds and retro — for experienced riders
The Suzuki GSX-8S (776 cc) and Honda Hawk 11 (1082 cc) rent for HK$790/day, with the same flat HK$5,000 deposit as every other bike. Plenty of power and electronics for full-day Island-to-New-Territories loops.
Every bike can be hired by riders aged 30+ with 5 years on a motorcycle licence.
