HIRE AND EQUIPMENT

Yes, all rentals include third-party riders’ insurance and third-party property damage insurance. The policy insurance coverage is based on the security deposit amount as nominated in your rental agreement.

What is included in my motorcycle rental?

Your motorcycle rental includes:

Can I use my own GPS?

Yes, if the motorcycle is factory-equipped with the GPS mount. Please check availability upon request.

Can I store my luggage at your location?

No, it is not possible to store your luggage or any personal belongings at our office.

Do you have motorbike clothing for hire?

Yes, we have rental gear available for rent, such as helmets & jackets but it is subject to availability. If you require rental gears, please contact us prior to the rental period.

Can I pick up or drop off at my hotel?

Yes, but this service is subject to the availability of the Rentalbike.hk operations team and there will be a set fee for this drop-off service.

Is there a daily mileage riding limit?

No, your motorcycle rental allows for unlimited mileage within Hong Kong.

What are the driving license requirements?

For Hong Kong Residents:

Hold a Hong Kong identity card.
Have held a Hong Kong Motorcycle Driving Licence for over 5-years.
Driver’s minimum age: 30-years of age.

For Customers from Overseas:

Hold a valid passport.
The driver’s passport must show the immigration date to Hong Kong and the visitor landing slip from the Hong Kong immigration department.
Hold an Overseas Motorcycle Driving Licence for over 5-years (or attach a valid International Driving Licence if the Overseas Driving Licence is not in English).
Provide documentation as proof of address.
Driver’s minimum age criteria: 30-years of age.

When can I collect & drop-off my motorcycle?

You can collect & drop-off the rental motorcycle within Rentalbike.hk office hours.

Monday > Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm

Saturday > Sunday: 11:00am – 6:00pm

Exact rental time collection and drop-off times will be outlined as part of your rental agreement.

For change of time for pick up or return after reservation, Renter must contact Company at least 2-hours in advance during office hours.

Rentalbike.hk team will be on-hand to assist you, should you have any problems or issues with your rental.

Are your motorcycles checked before I ride?

Yes, all Rentalbike.hk bikes are well maintained and thoroughly inspected prior to every ride by one of our qualified technicians, ensuring you have peace of mind while riding.

What happens if I have a problem or an accident?

Rentalbike.hk provides 24/7 emergency support and roadside assistance during your rental period.

What are the booking conditions?

Click the link to view our booking conditions can be found on our Booking Terms & Condition Page, including driving license requirements, identification, rider & property 3rd party insurance inclusions & insurance deductible amounts, deposit payments, reservation confirmation, roadside assistance, security deposit amounts, final payment information, extensions, amendments, cancellations, no-shows, and optional special damage coverage.

Are there any special conditions for use?

Yes, you must comply with all specified conditions, including parking the motorcycle safely, using only manufacturer-specified fuel, and not exceeding the maximum passenger or cargo limits. Prohibited uses include transport for hire, towing, unlawful purposes, and subleasing, among others.

Is roadside assistance available?

Yes, roadside assistance is available to all renters 24/7 within Hong Kong.

What happens to unclaimed belongings?

We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property left with us or carried in or on the motorcycle. Unclaimed property left in the motorcycle for more than 30 days may be disposed of by us.

Are there any GPS or other telematics system fitted?

Yes, the motorcycle may be equipped with GPS technology or other telematics systems, and your use of the motorcycle may be remotely monitored. You should inform all drivers and passengers of this monitoring and its implications.

What happens in the event of adverse weather conditions in Hong Kong?

In the event of adverse weather conditions in Hong Kong, rental service considerations & alterations will be adjusted as conditions allow: i.e., when Amber or Red Rainstorm Warning Signal or Typhoon Signal No. 1 or No. 3 is in effect, when Black Rainstorm Warning, Typhoon Signal No. 8, or above is hoisted or expected to be hoisted, rental service may be delayed or even cancelled. Subject to weather warnings & HK government weather recommendation.

Will I get a refund on my rental deposit in the event of adverse weather conditions?

If delays occur in the rental period due to adverse and unsafe riding weather conditions in Hong Kong, your rental reservation deposit will be carried over to the next rental reservation. There are no refunds.

There is no time limit on future use of your rental deposit.

How much is the security deposit & insurance deductible amount I need to pay?

Every motorcyle rental will have a stipulated security deposit amount and insurance deductible amount held against either the renter’s credit card or held as cash payment upon the collection of the rental motorcycle.

Security deposit and insurance deductible amounts will be specified and payable at time of motorcycle collection, processed in-person at Rentalbike.hk office.

Security deposit refunds will be processed 30-days following rental period conclusion. Subject to any outstanding amounts due from rental period : toll fees, fines, infringements and vehicle damages.
